IMO and its SENSREC project are seeking to increase its pool of experts to deliver work on a wide range of assignments related to ship recycling. Examples of assignments are the development of technical reports, studies and training materials, and the delivery of training courses or technical demonstrations.
Profiles that will be required throughout the duration of the Project are highly varied and include knowledge of at least one of the aspects related to ship recycling and the management of hazardous waste, including (but not limited to), Ship recycling industrial process, Naval engineering, Risk assessment, Policy and Strategy development.
To be part of the pool, experts should register by sending their CV to sensrec@imo.org. Their application should state if they are acting as individual consultants, consulting companies, universities, research centres or other organizations.
Assignments will be announced in this website, with a detailed description of the scope of work, specific needs and expected timeline for work completion. Experts particularly interested in undertaking any specific assignment are encouraged to follow the specific instructions included in the description of the assignment.
The selection process for any assignment will follow the IMO Rules and Regulations and IMO Procurement procedures.
