Proposed Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) for hazardous waste in Bangladesh
On behalf of the Ministry of Industries of the Government of Bangladesh, the SESNREC Project is sharing an open call for information session about the establishment and future operation of a treatment, storage and disposal facility for hazardous waste in the area of Mishorai, Chattogram, Bangladesh.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION
Companies wishing to take part in the information sessions are invited to register their interest before 20 October 2026 using the Registration link below. Once the registration is completed, a meeting link will be sent by email.

A full Feasibility Study for the TSDF has been developed for the Government of Bangladesh. The hazardous waste management facility is envisaged to be publicly built and privately operated, subject to Government decisions and financing arrangements that are still being coordinated. The purpose of the information sessions is to inform the market and to understand the interest and capabilities of potential participants — in construction (EPC), operation and maintenance (O&M), an integrated design-build-operate (DBO) arrangement, or related roles such as by-product off-take..
These Information Sessions are not a tender or a pre-qualification, and attendance confers no advantage in any future procurement, which will be conducted separately under applicable public-procurement rules of the Government of Bangladesh. The same information will be provided to all registered parties..
